INTRODUCTION /
For more than a decade, AmeriCares has been committed to delivering aid to the people of India in response to natural disasters and for specialized medicines for the poor populations throughout the country. AmeriCares has worked closely with state governments and leading nonprofit organizations in India to deliver $45 million worth of life-saving medicines and medical supplies over the past fifteen years. We have established partnerships with local non-governmental organizations to ensure our medicines reach the people most in need.
AmeriCares in India has developed a platform based on strategic partnerships, high-efficiency and tight auditing procedures. AmeriCares works with international and local charitable organizations in India, including non-governmental agencies, hospitals and other to pinpoint humanitarian need and respond to those that are most critical.
